NHRA Debuts Hot Rod Racing in “4D”

First Ever Tactile Enhanced Broadcast Goes National;
TV Viewers Can Now Feel the Thrill of Live Racing – At Home!

October 2, 2013

WESTERVILLE, OH, October 2, 2013 - The Guitammer Company (OTCQB: GTMM), a leader in tactile broadcast technology and creator of the award-winning line of ButtKicker®-brand low frequency audio transducers that provide an immersive entertainment experience for audiences announced today that the first ever tactile enhanced live sports broadcast is being successfully aired to a national audience on ESPN2, including the recently concluded AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals.

“The NHRA is not only the fastest motor sport, but the most fan-friendly,” said Gary Darcy, senior vice president of sales and marketing, NHRA. “We are continually looking for ways to better connect our fans to our teams and drivers, and not only that, for ways to bring the incredible excitement of being at a live event to our fans watching our broadcasts at home.”

“We believe this is a significant milestone in our efforts to commercialize our broadcast technology,” said Mark Luden, president of Guitammer. “The NHRA is an ideal starting point for us and we are very committed to giving them new ways to bring the thrill of live racing right to the fans homes. What we are doing is analogous to the in-car cameras that are now used to allow fans to see the drivers as they race, and to let fans see what the drivers see. We are putting sensors on the cars; sensors that capture the actual vibration the driver and fans feel. And that feeling – the tactile enhancement, live and in real time – is added by ESPN to the broadcast. It’s pretty amazing when you think about it. We have our “4D Sports” truck in the TV compound that receives the tactile signal from the race cars almost one half a mile away while they are traveling at upwards of 300+ mph with 10,000 horsepower and then we “hand” that tactile signal to the ESPN production team to be incorporated as they see fit into their broadcast.”
