The Guitammer Company Demonstrates First-Ever 4D Sports Broadcast in New Video

The Making of Tactile Broadcasting

October 16, 2013

WESTERVILLE, OH, October 16, 2013 - The Guitammer Company (OTCQB: GTMM), a leader in tactile broadcast technology and creator of the award-winning line of ButtKicker®-brand low frequency audio transducers that provide an immersive entertainment experience for audiences announced today that it has released "The Making of Tactile Broadcasting" video to highlight and explain the groundbreaking progress it has made using its patented broadcast technology to enhance the NHRA on ESPN2 broadcasts.

This fast paced video highlights the fact that "tactile broadcasting" is more immersive and fan engaging than regular broadcasts of only video and sound.

Wireless sensors are attached to dragsters as they scream down the track at speeds over 300 mph and their "tactile energy" -- the actual vibration the driver feels and fans at the event experience -- is captured and added to the broadcast in addition to the normal sound and video. This "tactile" data is received by Guitammer's engineers in their broadcast truck in the television production compound and then handed off to the ESPN production team to be incorporated into the NHRA broadcast. This now "tactile enhanced" broadcast is available nationwide to all of the approximate 100 million homes in the USA that receive ESPN2 programming; whether by cable, satellite or FiOS.

The video features interviews with a Funny Car crew chief and fans that experienced the NHRA in 4D at Guitammer's Nitro Alley fan experience display at the recent Concord, NC NHRA event.

Additionally, the simple and affordable home hardware the consumer uses to be able to "feel" the tactile enhanced broadcast, the "wireless ButtKicker Kit", is highlighted as well.
